What is Bija? Bija (pronounced Bee-jah) is a curated collection of interior pieces that celebrate simplicity, natural materials, and thoughtful living. Each piece is intentionally selected to bring a sense of calm, texture, and quiet beauty into the home.
Can I view the collection in person? Yes. We offer private viewings by appointment at Moor Room in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula, allowing for a more personal and considered experience.
Where are your pieces sourced from? Our collection is hand-selected from skilled artisans in Indonesia who share our respect for slow craftsmanship and natural materials. We work closely with makers who value quality, integrity, and timeless design.
How do I book an appointment? You can request a viewing by contacting us on email, phone or instagram. We will confirm a viewing time with you.
Do you offer shipping? Yes. We offer Australia-wide shipping, with rates calculated at checkout based on the size of your order and your delivery location. As many of our pieces are handcrafted, oversized or fragile, shipping costs vary depending on the item. We work with trusted freight partners to ensure your order arrives safely. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive tracking details (where available) so you can follow its journey. If you're located on the Mornington Peninsula, you're also welcome to collect your order by appointment from our Dromana showroom. If you have any questions about shipping or would like a delivery quote before purchasing, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Do you offer local pickup? Yes. Local pickup is available from our Dromana location by appointment once your order is ready.
Do you offer returns or exchanges? Due to the limited and curated nature of our collection, we generally do not offer returns for change of mind. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours so we can assist.
Do you take custom orders?
 We occasionally facilitate custom sourcing requests depending on availability and timelines. Please reach out to discuss your vision.
Are your pieces one of a kind? Many of our pieces are produced in limited quantities, and some are entirely unique. We encourage considered purchases, as restocks are not always guaranteed.
How should I care for my pieces?
 Each item is unique and may require specific care. General guidance will be provided with your purchase, and we’re always available if you have questions.
Can you help with interior styling?
 Yes. Interior styling is available through MCM Studio. We offer a considered approach to creating spaces that feel both refined and deeply personal.
What materials do you use?
 We prioritise natural materials such as timber, rattan, jute, linen etc chosen for their texture, durability, and timeless appeal.
