1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of goods from BIJA. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Consumer Guarantees Australian Consumer Law

​

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

• BIJA does not provide any additional manufacturer's warranty beyond the statutory protections provided by Australian Consumer Laws.

3. Natural Materials & Handmade Variation

​

Furniture is handcrafted in Indonesia using natural materials (e.g., Teak, Rattan).

​

•  You acknowledge that wood grain, knots, colour variations, and minor surface pitting are natural features and not defects.

​​

• As natural timber adjusts to Australian humidity levels, minor "checking" (fine hairline cracks) may occur. This is a natural process of the timber "breathing" and is not considered a structural fault.

4. Orders and Payment

​

• All items are subject to availability in our Australian warehouse.

• Full payment is required before goods are dispatched or collected.

• Ownership of the goods passes to you only when full payment has been cleared.

5. Returns and Change of Mind

​

• We do not offer refunds or exchanges for "change of mind" or if the item does not fit your space.

• If a refund is approved under the Australian Consumer Law, it will be processed using the original payment method.
